WordCamp Europe 2025 Seeks Organizers
WordCamp Europe 2025, scheduled to take place from June 5 – 7, 2025, in Basel, Switzerland is looking for organizers to make this flagship event a grand success. The planning phase of this event will start in September 2024. Organizers will be involved in weekly or bi-weekly meetings leading up to the event and will work in teams including Budget, Community, Content, and Design.
What’s New in Gutenberg 19.1? (28 August)
Gutenberg 19.1 has been released and is available for download! This release includes a long-awaited plugin template registration API and changes to image caption styles. Other notable updates include adding border support to many core blocks, better defaults for the zoom out view, data view extensibility improvements, and the publication of core concept guides for the Interactivity API. Gutenberg 19.1 includes a new API so plugins can easily register templates. Stay tuned for an upcoming tutorial on the Developer Blog.
Should Wordcamp Asia Select More Asian Speakers?
I’ve attended both WordCamp Asia 2023 and 2024 so know first hand what are great experience they offer and the value you get from attending talks, talking to sponsors and networking. And yes, I’m planning to go next year too. You should too: tickets are being released in batches, so keep an eye out on the socials for when they will be available next.
