WordSesh 5 Scheduled for July 25th
After not having an event in 2017, WordSesh, a virtual WordPress conference, is returning July 25th. The event is being organized by Brian Richards, Founder of WPSessions and a collection of partners.
The schedule is online and like previous events, there is a mixture of sessions and live podcasts. Based on the sessions, this year’s event leans towards consultants and developers.
Are WordPress Developers Really Cheaper to Hire?
WordPress has less of an entry barrier for developers, meaning it’s easier to get into. It also has the largest ecosystem among all content management systems. That should mean a high supply of developers, which should result in low prices.
However, it recently occurred to us that we have no concrete evidence to support that claim. Therefore, we thought it’s time to find out if that claim is actually true.
Using Ethics In Web Design
Every design decision is a decision made on behalf of other people, those we often refer to as “end-users.” As the creators of designed experiences used by people all over the world, it is our responsibility to think carefully about how our decisions impact the person on the other end of the conversation. Even small and seemingly insignificant decisions can have enormous implications, and ethics can help ensure the longevity of our designs and help us carve paths to better futures for everyone.
