WordPress 6.6 Beta 2 is here! Please download and test it. This beta version of the WordPress software is under development. What Is New in Gutenberg 18.5 (05 Jun)
Gutenberg 18.5 introduces several exciting features, enhancements, and some bug fixes. Some of the highlights of this release include better tools for section styling, providing more customization options for your sections, a new Custom Shadows feature which improves the control over our shadows, and also the ability to edit a block’s custom fields directly in the block itself, thanks to the latest additions to the Block Bindings API.
WordPress 6.5.4 Restores Auto-redirect After Plugin Activation
Originally, WordPress 6.5.3 was expected to address the Ajax Plugin Activation challenges from WordPress 6.5 but the community did not take kindly to the admin notice asking to refresh the page after installing a plugin. WooCommerce developer Adrian Duffell pointed to a 20% reduction in the number of users completing the plugin’s setup flow.
